Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáre ceyechi mane práńe ámi
Sáŕá dile náko mor d́áke
Khuṋjechi tiirthe khuṋji vanabhúmi
Khuṋjechi megher pháṋke pháṋke

Vicitra tava liilá priyatama
Tiirthapati he mandire mama
Antareri antaratama
Bujhechi e kathá dúre theke

Liilá kare jáo kona kśati nái
Amará mádhurii jena dekhe jái
Cinmay tava krpákańá cái
Prati palakeri pulake

I have wanted You wholeheartedly;
You gave no reply to my call.
I have searched in holy sites, in woodlands I seek;
In gap after gap of clouds I have sought.

Dearest, multifarious is Your play divine,
Hey, the presiding deity at my shrine.
You are the innermost of my inner mind,
Remaining afar, this fact I have fathomed.

Go on making sport, there's no detriment
When I go on seeing the heavenly sweetness.
Avatar of Consciousness, I crave a speck of Your kindness;
With my every momentary horripilation.
