Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Kánu mor jadi náhi elo gokule
Jadi náhi elo gokule
Kiser tare sáj kiser samáj láj
Málá gáṋthá málati phule

Bhávi táre divánishi bhási tári bháve mishi
Nayaner kajjvale dekhi sadá tári hási
Tári priiti marme dole

Liilánande sei mananer manorama
Nityánanda vibhu práńeri priyatama
Bháśár báṋdhan bheuṋge bháv mor durdama
Tári t́áne chot́e akúle

If to Gokul my Kanu[nb 2] did not come,
If to Gokul He did not come,
Raiment is for Whose sake, toward Whom social shame,
The garland threaded with malatii blossom.

On Him I think day and night, with His thought mingling float I;
In the kohl of eyes, always I see His smile;
Only His love sways at heart-core.

In that same sportive bliss of thinking mind-pleasing,
The ever-happy Deity is my life's Dearest Darling.
Having burst linguistic binding, my thought process unruly
Races absent limitation upon just His attraction.
