Tumi náki ásibe áshá bhariyá debe
Nirásh hrdaye ei martyaloke

Áshár agnikońe jvalibe nútan álo
Bhávanár mánavatá je mádakatá dilo
Táhái múrta habe karibe jáhái bhálo
Bhúmáte mananer jamake

Thákibe ná káro duhkh bharibe sabár buk
Brhater preśańáy rabe sadá unmukh
Susmita áṋkhitárá projjvala pratimukh
Mahájiivaner jhalake

বারতা এসেছে দূর তারকা থেকে
তুমি নাকি আসিবে আশা ভরিয়া দেবে
নিরাশ হৃদয়ে এই মরত্যলোকে

আশার অগ্নিকোণে জ্বলিবে নূতন আলো
ভাবনার মানবতা যে মাদকতা দিলো
তাহাই মূর্ত হবে করিবে যাহাই ভালো
ভূমাতে মননের যমকে

থাকিবে না কারো দুঃখ ভরিবে সবার বুক
বৃহতের প্রেষণায় রবে সদা উন্মুখ
সুস্মিত আঁখিতারা প্রোজ্জ্বল প্রতিমুখ
মহাজীবনের ঝলকে

Information has arrived from a remote star;
Will You not be sating hope, won't You come
To this same mortal world with despairing heart?

At hope's southeast corner, You will kindle new light;
Anxious humanity did provide the heady might...
Only that will manifest– You'll make everything fine,
Between Supreme Being and Its thinking-analogue.

No one's sorrow will remain, You'll fill every breast;
By the Great's inspiration, constant zeal will dwell...
The eye-pupils smiling sweetly, each face resplendent,
Through exuberant lifetime's effusion.
