Vyakta tumi vishvaliiláy
Arúp májhe rúper meláy
Kabhu rju kabhu pratiip

Tomáy ámi bhálabási
Tomár tarei káṋdi hási
Mor sakal tamasá náshi
Maner sudháy eso adhip

তুমি সবার আশার আলো
তুমি সবার প্রাণের প্রদীপ
নিকষ কালোয় শুভ্র আলো
মধু মাখা তুমি যে নীপ

আলো-আঁধারেরই খেলায়
ব্যক্ত তুমি বিশ্বলীলায়
অরূপ মাঝে রূপের মেলায়
কভু ঋজু কভু প্রতীপ

তোমায় আমি ভালবাসি
তোমার তরেই কাঁদি হাসি
মোর সকল তমসা নাশি'
মনের সুধায় এসো অধিপ

For one and all a ray of hope are You;
You are everyone's life-lantern.
A bright light in pitch-black gloom,
You're the kadam honey-coated.

In a game of light-and-shadow,
By cosmic liila You're displayed.
Formless mid a fair of shapes,
At times frank, oft the reverse.

Yourself do I hold dear;
For You I laugh and I weep.
All of my darkness ridding,
With the mind's ambrosia please come, Master.
