Calecho kotháy
Balo ná ámáy
Áṋdháre álokashikhá jvelechile
Se diip jena ná nive jáy

Ańu paramáńute eki liilá tomár
Sakal sattá májhe tumi eki samáhár
Nidrá tandrághore kál ket́eche ámár
Jágiye diye cale jáo kotháy

Jagate áchi ámi tomári iccháy
Ásá jáoyá sabi mor tava anukampáy
Din rát kena áse kenai bá cale jáy
Kena ási shudhu tumi jáno e dharáy

তুমি ভালবেসে' এসেছিলে
চলেছো কোথায়
বলো না আমায়
আঁধারে আলোকশিখা জ্বেলেছিলে
সে দীপ যেন না নিবে' যায়

অণু-পরমাণুতে একি লীলা তোমার
সকল সত্তা মাঝে তুমি একই সমাহার
নিদ্রা-তন্দ্রাঘোরে কাল কেটেছে আমার
জাগিয়ে দিয়ে চলে যাও কোথায়

জগতে আছি আমি তোমারই ইচ্ছায়
আসা-যাওয়া সবই মোর তব অনুকম্পায়
দিন রাত কেন আসে কেনই বা চলে' যায়
কেন আসি শুধু তুমি জানো এ ধরায়

Having loved You had come;
You have gone where,
Please do tell me.
Light's flame You had lit in the dark;
May that lantern not get extinct.

With atom and molecule, Yours is such a liila;
Amid all existence, You are the one aggregate.
In slumber and deep drowsiness, my time has passed;
Having wakened me, whereto do You disappear?

In the cosmos I exist by the wish of You only;
All my coming and going is at Your mercy.
Day and night, why they come, why oh why do they leave;
And why do I arrive, in this world, You alone perceive.
