Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Gáne esecho tumi
Práńe choṋyá dáo
Manane udbhásita ánane smita
Dhyáne káche ese jáo

Divas ket́eche tava bhávanáy
Sandhyá ákáshe álo jhalakáy
Esecho jakhan tháko ańukśań
More tava kare náo

E sandhyá jena sárákśań tháke
Jyotsnár sáthe mathita pulake
Sakal ákuti madhumay smrti
Tomári sure bhásáo

With songs You've arrived,
You permit contact in life.
With bright thinking and a smiling visage,
You proceed in meditation, having come nigh.

The day has elapsed, contemplating Thee;
On the evening sky a light is scintillating.
When You have come You stay every moment;
You receive and make me Thine.

For all time, may this evening endure,
Accompanied by moonlight and a churned rapture.
With all fervor, honey-filled are recollections,
On just Your melody You make ride.
