Je bhay chilo ámár mane
D́háká rákhá saḿgopane
D́hákná khule tumi dile
Jániná kii káje

Pápŕi májhe tháká je láj
Sarále tár madhuka táj
Man bhramará lajjáhárá
Uŕe niláj náce

তুমি আমার অরূপ রতন
আছো স্মিত সাজে আছো স্মিত সাজে
দেখিনিকো তোমায়
কভু ভয়ে লাজে কভু ভয়ে লাজে

যে ভয় ছিলো আমার মনে
ঢাকা রাখা সংগোপনে
ঢাকনা খুলে' তুমি দিলে
জানিনা কী কাজে

পাপড়ি মাঝে থাকা যে লাজ
সরালে তার মধুক তাজ
মন-ভ্রমরা লজ্জাহারা
উড়ে নিলাজ নাচে

You're in smiling garb, in smiling garb.
Yourself I did not observe,

The fear had been inside my psyche,
Cloaked and kept secretly.
The cover did You free;
I know not by what deed.

Amid petals left, the bashfulness;
You removed its waxen diadem.
Mind's bumblebee, shameless,
Brazen it flies, dancing.
