Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáre ceyechi gopane (ámi)
Ámár priya tumi sabár sakhá
Ácho jiivane bhará chande gáne
Smarańiiya tumi satye d́háká

Áloker vartiká sáthe rekhecho
Priitir pallave dodul dulecho
Je anádrta seo tomáte sthita
Kakhano karo ná táke triloke eká

Jár keu kothá nái seo tomáke d́áke
Bahirantare megheri pháṋke pháṋke
Jaŕe supta tumi bháve diipta tumi
Shubhrajyotsnáloke ramya ráká

Yourself have I wanted privately;
Beloved mine, You are everybody's boon companion.
You are in an existence, with rhythm and song replete;
Though fit for recollection, in fact You're enveloped.

Alongside, a lamp of light You've retained,
Mid leaves of love a swing You have swayed.
Also the one slighted, with You is he placed;
No one in the universe You ever make lonesome.

Whose someone isn't anywhere, he too calls out to Thee,
Through gaps of only cloud external-and-internally.
Though dormant in the worldly, in thought You are shining,
Exquisite with white moonlight, the full moon at dawn.[nb 2]
