Priyatama tumi tamasá násho hari
Srśt́i stithi laye vidhrta nilaye
Liilá karo he ánandavihárii

Rúpátiita vibhu rúpe ele kabe
Kon se atiite álok utsave
Chaŕiye dile práń kon se ásave
Kata ná kaḿsávataḿsa saḿhárii

Ásá jáoyá tava hay náko kabhu
Desh-gata bádhá náhi tomár prabhu
Abodha man tomáy káche d́áke tabu
Jadio tumi antarataracárii

এলে অরূপ স্রোতে রূপের পরিধিতে
প্রিয়তম তুমি তমসা নাশ হরি
সৃষ্টি-স্থিতি-লয়ে বিধৃত নিলয়ে
লীলা করো হে আনন্দবিহারী

রূপাতীত বিভু রূপে এলে কবে
কোন্‌ সে অতীতে আলোক-উৎসবে
ছড়িয়ে দিলে প্রাণ কোন্‌ সে আসবে
কত না কংসাবতংস-সংহারী

আসা-যাওয়া তব হয় নাকো কভু
দেশগত বাধা নাহি তোমার প্রভু
অবোধ মন তোমায় কাছে ডাকে তবু
যদিও তুমি অন্তরতরচারী

Came You, the Formless, on stream in form's circumference;
Hari, my most Beloved, You remove the dark.
With Generation, Operation, and Destruction at fixed residence,
Hey the Bliss-Player, You make liila.

When You entered into form, the form-free Godhead,
Which was that time of yore with a light fest?
Vitality, by which elixir did You spread;
And how many diadems were retracted from a Kamsa?

Never does it happen, Your coming and going;
Master, You are not obstructed by an erstwhile territory.
Nonetheless, the foolish mind invites Yourself near,
Even though You are intralocomotional.
