Hatásháy nirásháy man d́eke' jáy
He prabhu tomáy avirám
Shońo ki shońo ná jánite pári ná
Shudhu bujhi tumi abhirám

Pale anupale vipale náco prabhu
Anádi asheśe sheś ná hao kabhu
Chile ácho thákiyá jábe tumi
Tabu khuṋje' cali tava dhám

Saritá parvate máná máno ná
Mahodadhi-úrmi gońo ná
Tomári jyotihshikháy sabe nece' jáy
Pápakśará tava nám

হতাশায় নিরাশায় মন ডেকে' যায়
হে প্রভু তোমায় অবিরাম
শোণ কি শোণ না জানিতে পারি না
শুধু বুঝি তুমি অভিরাম

পলে অনুপলে বিপলে নাচো প্রভু
অনাদি অশেষে শেষ না হও কভু
ছিলে আছো থাকিয়া যাবে তুমি
তবু খুঁজে' চলি তব ধাম

সরিতা পর্বতে মানা মানো না
মহোদধি-ঊর্মি গোণ না
তোমারই জ্যোতিঃশিখায় সবে নেচে' যায়
পাপক্ষরা তব নাম

In despair, despondency, mind goes on calling
Unto You, oh Lord; it is non-stop.
Whether You listen, to know, I cannot;
Just that You are pleasant do I fathom.

Every moment, trice, and microsecond, You dance, Master;
Self-born and endless, unfinished are You ever.
You had been, You are, and staying You'll continue;
Nonetheless, I go on seeking Your habitation.

Constraint of river from mountain, You heed not;
Ocean or wave, You consider not.
With just Your light-beams all go on dancing;
Your appellation is sin's annihilation.
