At the groves of Vrndavan aplenty, Having coated revelry on a mild breeze. The kadam tree is wizened; Grazing land had become a desert. And the River Jamuna had evaporated; Inside heart Kanu had not been. The ones who had loved, To a standstill they had come. But today they lost aplomb, Having gotten their Beloved at dwelling.
