Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ceoná ceoná ceoná ámár páne
Aman vinati kare'
Dharáy esechi káje
Rekho ná ámáre dhare'

Anádikáler srote bhese' cali asheśete
Upekśá kare' jái ulká-vajrapáte
Tumi ese' mor pathe
Rodhite rodhite rodhite ceoná more

Race jábo ei dhará phule phale pallave
Sakala maner końe áshár álo jválibe
Atandra anidra rajani kabe saribe
Ásibe ásibe ásibe
Jiivanadhárá bhariyá sudhásáre

O Lord, do not to look at me pleading like this.
I have come to the earth to work.
Do not hold me back.
In the flow of eternity,
I continued drifting towards the infinite,
ignoring fall of meteors and lightning.
You came to obstruct my path in this manner.
Do not stop me, imploring like this.
I shall continue to re-create
this earth with flowers, fruits and leaves.
I shall kindle the light of hope
in the recess of every mind.
When will the tireless and sleepless night end?
Definitely, for certain,
the flow of life would come filled with
the essence of nectar.
