Tava bhávaná niye
Jániná kata janam
Kát́iyá geche ámár
Tomári patha smari
Áshári tithi guńi
Tomákei ghire náce
Duhkha sukher upacár

Dúre theke shudhu háso
Se hásite tamah násho
Jáni bhálo more báso
He priya cira ápanár

Kena náhi káche áso
Sahe ná lesh avakásho
Mane ese priiti bháśo
Sariye smrti vedanár

তোমারই পথ চেয়ে
তব ভাবনা নিয়ে
জানিনা কত জনম
কাটিয়া গেছে আমার
তোমারই পথ স্মরি
আশারই তিথি গুণি
তোমাকেই ঘিরে' নাচে
দুঃখ সুখের উপচার

দূরে থেকে শুধু হাস
সে হাসিতে তমঃ নাশো
জানি ভালো মোরে বাসো
হে প্রিয় চির-আপনার

কেন নাহি কাছে আস
সহে না লেশ অবকাশও
মনে এসে প্রীতি ভাষো
সরিয়ে স্মৃতি বেদনার

Only Your path observing,
Your contemplation taking,
I know not how much lifetime
Cleaving has gone of mine.
I remember just Your way;
I count only hopeful days.
It dances round You solely,
Happiness-and-sorrow's rite.

You simply smile from afar,
But by that grin You rid the dark.
I know that myself You regard,
Ever my own, hey the One I prize.

Close by why don't You come?
Even the least gap is not borne.
Having appeared in psyche, speak of love;
The memory of agony is set aside.
