Tamasari shese alor deshe is the 2860th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tamasári[nb 2] sheśe álor deshe
Tomáke pelum avasheśe
Prathame cinini tumio baloni
Gán shune bujhechi sureri reshe

Dhará dite cáo náko kena bujhe ot́há dáy
Bhávo ki asuvidhá habe táháte liiláy
Anurúpe ácho tumi anurágii ceye jáy
Tái dekhe ki ele navatara veshe

Jakhan jekháne tháko jabe jethá áso tumi
Tomáre varite cái kot́i kot́i prańami
Bháver atiit tiire abháver parapáre
Eso mor áro káche mohana veshe

On conclusion of my darkness, at light's realm,
Yourself did I get in the end.
At first I recognized not, You also did not speak;
Song heard, I've fathomed in just tune's post-effect.

Embrace You don't want to grant, the why is hard to grasp;
Do You think that will be inconvenient to Your liila?
Votary keeps wanting You in a style familiar;
Seeing that alone, did You come in novelty's apparel?

The moment You remain somewhere, when there You appear,
I wish to welcome You, a billion times prostrating.
Upon a shore beyond thought, on other bank of nothing,
Come still more my adjacent in a charming raiment.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ This word is given in all of the published Bangla source as tamasá. It is only in the early (and still only) audio recording that tamasári is found. The change of meaning is subtle but significant. As this wording is without support beyond logic and the audio recording, it may be controversial.
