Jyotivartiká niye ácho ke go
Ananta kál dhare

Jyotir kańiká bhese caleche
Tamasá bhediyá bhuvana upce
Ke kii bháviteche ke kii kariteche
Dekhicho sabár agocare

He jyoti puruś parama lakśya
Keha náhi tava samakakśa
Bháuṋgite gaŕite samán dakśa
Kśańe bháuṋgo gaŕo cupisáre

তমসার পরপারে
জ্যোতিবর্তিকা নিয়ে আছ কে গো
অনন্ত কাল ধরে’

জ্যোতির কণিকা ভেসে’ চলেছে
তমসা ভেদিয়া ভুবন উপচে’
কে কী ভাবিতেছে কে কী করিতেছে
দেখিছ সবার অগোচরে

হে জ্যোতি-পুরুষ পরম লক্ষ্য
কেহ নাহি তব সমকক্ষ
ভাঙ্গিতে গড়িতে সমান দক্ষ
ক্ষণে ভাঙ্গ গড় চুপিসারে

On far bank of darkness dreary,
Oh Who are You with light's lantern,
Bearing for eternity?

A spark of luster has gone sailing,
Piercing the gloom world-deluging...
What one has been thinking, has been doing,
Undetected, You are seeing everything.

Hey Lustrous Consciousness, Supreme Objective,
There is none who is Your equal...
To demolish or construct, like celestial maker,[nb 2]
In a trice You break or build, imperceptibly.
