Notes
- ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
- ^ To be precise, an udgátá (উদ্গাতা) is a singer of the Sámaveda, which according to Sarkar is a compilation of the musical portions of the three vedas: Rgveda, Yajurveda, and Atharvaveda.[3] Metaphorically, the Lord is being described as a singer of ancient wisdom.
