Betasa kuinje esechilo se je is the 2812th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2] This song tells the story of Krsna's death, but it resonates with great similarity to Sarkar's own demise.

Betasa kuiṋje esechilo se je
Káhára lágiyá kichu bujhini
Cinite deyni jánite deyni
Ápanár kona kathá baleni

Shudhu hesechilo mukhapáne ceye
Amará mádhurii adharete niye
Ákásh vátás phelechilo cheye
Tabuo táke cinite párini

Cale gelo jabe ápanár káje
Smitálok májhe kusumer sáje
Nandita gáne spandita náce
Sediner kathá ájo bhulini

বেতস কুঞ্জে এসেছিল সে যে
কাহার লাগিয়া কিছু বুঝিনি
চিনিতে দেয়নি জানিতে দেয়নি
আপনার কোন কথা বলেনি

শুধু হেসেছিল মুখপানে চেয়ে
অমরা মাধুরী অধরেতে নিয়ে
আকাশ বাতাস ফেলেছিল ছেয়ে'
তবুও তাকে চিনিতে পারিনি

চলে' গেল যবে আপনার কাজে
স্মিতালোক মাঝে কুসুমের সাজে
নন্দিত গানে স্পন্দিত নাচে
সেদিনের কথা আজও ভুলিনি

In a grove of bamboo, oh He had appeared;
Due to whom, not a bit I caught on?
Identify, He let not; realize, He let not–
Any words of His own He spoke not.

Gazing at my face, He had only beamed,
Taking from the lower lip a sweetness heavenly.
Sky and wind had overwhelmed me;
And yet to recognize Him I could not.

When He did go away, by His own activity,
It was in floral dress amid a light shining.
Pleased by song, with dance throbbing,
That day's tale, still I forgot it not.
