Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Arúp tomár rúper parashe
Áṋdhár jagate álo eseche
Se álote dik udbhásita
Mantramugdha dhará jegeche

Dyuloker dyuti bhúloke enecho
Balákár sure sur miliyecho
Asiimer gán sasiime geyecho
Dik diganta táte meteche

Tamisráte já ávrta chilo
Úśár kirańe nayan melilo
Darshan drk draśt́á hásilo
Drshya vishva pulake náce

Formless Lord, by the touch of Your form,
To a dark world light has come.
By that light, sides are brightened;
Earth bewitched has woken up.

You've brought to earthly realm the splendor of Heaven;
With a goose's[nb 2] tune, melody You've blended.
A song of the Infinite, You've sung to one who's limited;
By that means, direction and prospect have run amok.

What had been veiled by darkness,
Neath the rays of daybreak, eyes did spread.
Smiled the act of viewing, that seen, and witness;
With a thrill, the visible universe, dance it does.
