Akash dakiya jay is the 3087th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ákásh d́ákiyá jáy
Niilimár końe końe
Vátás madhu kśaray
Mananer pratikśańe

Prabhát áloke je rúp rekhe[nb 2] jái
Sandhyár raktaráge táre náhi pái
Pale pale nava nava vicitra anubhava
Bhuvaner mane mane

Shuśka nidághe prakrtire já dekhi
Sharater sádá meghe se tháke náki
Shiiter jaŕatáy je taru shobhá háráy
Seo phire páy pháguner ágamane

The sky goes on calling,
from all its corners.
The air oozes out honey
each moment into the mind.
The beauty that I see
in the morning light,
that I do not find
in the red color of the evening.
Each moment ever-new feelings
come into every mind of the world.
In the dry hot sun what I see in nature,
that does not stay
in the white clouds of the autumn.
During inertia of winter,
the tree that loses its beauty,
that again gets it back
with the arrival of the spring.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ The Bangla source is divided as to whether this word should be dekhe or rekhe. Both make sense. Here we side with the choice made by the singer.
