O lord, for you i am waiting
The path, for how long am I watching,
looking at your path for much time.
On account of You only;
how many second, how much time
Have You forgotten me?
has lapsed with expectations,
Vanished have moments aplenty,
whom can i explain.
Full of hope inwardly;
i have forgotten where
To whom will I reveal?
those trees and stars have got lost,

in the evening sky with red appearance,
That same line of trees, same galaxy,
that memory dies crying.
It's getting lost when they've gone missing.
By thinking after thinking,
Twilight on a firmament crimson-glowing,
i do not find any shore or bank,
That memory fades weeping.
wherefrom did i come

and whereto i am floating away.
The shoreline I don't find by constantly thinking;
hope and despair,
From whence arrived, whereto I go on drifting?
hundreds of curiosities,
My hope and despair, and a hundred queries,
dance around you.
They but dance around Thee.

Patha ceye achi katakal dhare is the 2822nd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Patha ceye áchi katakál dhare
Tomári tare
Tumi bhule gecho ámáre
Kata pal anupal cale geche
Áshá bhará antare
Ámi bojhábo káháre

Sei taruráji sei táráguli
Kabe háriyeche giyechi je bhuli
Sandhyá ákáshe raktimábháse
Se smrti káṋdiyá mare

Bheve bheve kúl kinárá ná pái
Kothá hate ese kothá bhese jái
Áshá niráshá shata jijiṋásá
Náce je tomáre ghire

The path, for how long am I watching,
On account of You only;
Have You forgotten me?
Vanished have moments aplenty,
Full of hope inwardly;
To whom will I reveal?

That same line of trees, same galaxy,
It's getting lost when they've gone missing.
Twilight on a firmament crimson-glowing,
That memory fades weeping.

The shoreline I don't find by constantly thinking;
From whence arrived, whereto I go on drifting?
My hope and despair, and a hundred queries,
They but dance around Thee.
