Niśpuśpa dinete ele
Kishalay bhare dile
Mará d́ále phul phot́ále

Je áshá jhariyá geche
Je bháśá múk hayeche
Se ásháy gucche gucche
Mukharatá ánile

Je saritá shukhiye
Marute geche háriye
Phalgudhárá ániye
Táháke baháye dile

নিষ্পত্র বনভূমি
নিষ্পুষ্প দিনেতে এলে
কিশলয় ভরে দিলে
মরা ডালে ফুল ফোটালে

যে আশা ঝরিয়া গেছে
যে ভাষা মূক হয়েছে
সে আশায় গুচ্ছে গুচ্ছে
মুখরতা আনিলে

যে সরিতা শুকিয়ে
মরুতে গেছে হারিয়ে
ফল্গুধারা আনিয়ে
তাহাকে বহায়ে দিলে

O lord,
into the leafless forest
You came during flowerless days,
filling it with tender new leaves,
and making flowers bloom on dry branches.

The hopes that had withered away,
the language that became dumb,
into these,
You brought bunches and bunches of reverberations.

By bringing about an undercurrent,
You made the stream that had dried up
and become lost in the sand, flow again.
