Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ámár málaiṋce phut́echilo
Kata phul tá ki jáno ná
Átaper tápe tárá jhare jábe
Tumi ki cáhiyá dekho ná

Ásháy ásháy din cale geche
Phuler pápŕi rauṋ háriyeche
Surabhi o madhu shúnye misheche
Tumi ki bujhite páro ná

Sei madhumás kabe je ásibe
Phale phule punah pulake hásibe
Jyotsná nisháy nabhoniilimáy
Dhará debe priiti cetaná

In my flower garden how many flowers bloomed,
do not You know that?
Due to heat of sunlight they would wither down,
do You want to see that?
With hope after hope, the day has passed;
the petals of flowers have lost the colors.
The fragrance and the honey are lost in vacuum.
Do not You understand that?
When that spring will come so that
flowers and fruits again will smile with joy?
And the moonlit night would come into the fold
of blue sky with loving consciousness?
