Kathá diye gele kena náhi ele
Ghar sájáno mor vrthá halo
Kishalayer bháre kusumeri háre
Svágata torań bheuṋge gelo

Phulera parág keṋde bhese jáy
E amánisháte bujhe ot́há dáy
Maneri vedanáy ashru jharańáy
Ajhore jhare cita caiṋcala

Tabu ásibe ei ásháy beṋdhe buk
Shudhu e bhávanáy bhuli jata duhkh
E bhávaná diye kuyáshá sariye
Arúp sáyare more niye calo

কথা দিয়ে গেলে কেন নাহি এলে
ঘর সাজানো মোর বৃথা হ'ল
কিশলয়ের ভারে কুসুমেরই হারে
স্বাগত তোরণ ভেঙ্গে' গেল

ফুলের পরাগ কেঁদে' ভেসে' যায়
এ অমানিশাতে বুঝে' ওঠা দায়
মনেরই বেদনায় অশ্রু-ঝরণায়
অঝোরে ঝরে চিত চঞ্চল

তবু আসিবে এই আশায় বেঁধে বুক
শুধু এ ভাবনায় ভুলি' যত দুঃখ
এ ভাবনা দিয়ে কুয়াশা সরিয়ে
অরূপ সায়রে মোরে নিয়ে চলো

O lord, you went giving word,
but why did not you come,
my decorating the house became useless.
with the load of tender leaves
in the garland, the decoration
at the entry gateway has broken.
the pollen of flowers go on
floating with cries.
Struggling with this darkness
has become hard.
with mental agony, the mind is restless
and the tears flow overwhelmingly.
still with the hope preserved in the heart,
that you would come, only with that feeling
i forget all sorrows.
providing this ideation, removing the mist,
into the formless ocean, take me along.
