Tandrá jaŕáno chilo ánkhipáte Ashru vindu bhará chilo táte Sárádin d́eke d́eke keṋdechilum Ceye chilum tava ásári pathe Din cale gelo elo sandhyátárá Raktimábhá halo áṋdháre hárá Shukáye gelo mor phulera málá Priitir parág mákhá chilo játe Áshár pare áshá jiivane áse Tabu se niirav ray kakhano bháśe Damibo ná ámi prabhu ná bhule tomáy kabhu Manane rákhibo beṋdhe chande giite	তন্দ্রা জড়ানো ছিল আঁখিপাতে অশ্রু বিন্দু ভরা ছিল তাতে সারাদিন ডেকে ডেকে কেঁদেছিলুম চেয়ে ছিলুম তব আসারই পথে দিন চলে গেল এল সন্ধ্যাতারা রক্তিমাভা হ'ল আঁধারে হারা শুকায়ে গেল মোর ফুলের মালা প্রীতির পরাগ মাখা ছিল যাতে আশার পরে আশা জীবনে আসে তবু সে নীরব রয় কখনো ভাষে দমিব না আমি প্রভু না ভুলে' তোমায় কভু মননে রাখিব বেঁধে ছন্দে গীতে	O lord, my eyes were drowsy, full of teardrops. whole day i continued crying looking for Your arrival path. the day passed, evening star appeared, the red hue got lost in the darkness. my garland of flowers dried up, in which the pollen of love was smeared. in life, hopes after hopes come; still it remained dried speaking occasionally. but i shall never be afraid and without forgetting you anytime, i shall keep the mind engaged in rhythms and songs.
