Tomáre pávár durásháy

Ácho tumi káchákáchi eo jáni
Maner rájá tumi táo máni
Priitite labhya tái bháve t́áni

বারে বারে তোমারে ধরিয়া রাখিতে চাই

দিন রাত ভুলিয়া তব কথা ভাবিয়াছি
স্থান কাল পাসরিয়া অশ্রু ঝরায়েছি
উদ্বেল হিয়া নিয়া পথ পানে চাহিয়াছি
তোমারে পাবার দুরাশায়

আছ তুমি কাছাকাছি এও জানি
মনের রাজা তুমি তাও মানি
প্রীতিতে লভ্য তাই ভাবে টানি
আশার মাণিক মোর ঝলকায়

O lord, in my mental heaven, again and again,
i want to keep under folds.
forgetting day and night,
i constantly think about you.
oblivious of place and time,
i flow tears.
with restless heart,
i move towards the path, with audacity.
i know that you are nearby only.
You are the emperor of mind,
that also i accept.
you are attainable by love
therefore i pull you with ideation,
o the shining ruby gem of my hope.
