Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Kálo megher pháṋke pháṋke
Dey je uṋki áshár álo
Jiivant́á nay shudhui kálo
Mishe áche manda bhálo

Ájke jáke ghrńá karo
Manuśyetar bale dharo
Kál se devatá haye jáy
Krpásindhu jadi cáilo

Ájke je jan dhanii mánii
Pracańd́a jár pratáp shuni
Kál se dhúláy guṋŕiye jáy
Jadi vidhátá virúp halo

Through the gaps of dark clouds,
he provides glimpses of the ray of hope.
the life is not only dark,
but also mixed with good and bad.
the one who is hated today
and considered worse than human being,
he may become god tomorrow,
if the lord, the ocean of grace wanted so.
those who are rich and respected today,
whose formidable might is heard,
tomorrow he would be crushed to dust,
if the lord becomes unfavorable.
