Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áṋdhár nishár bharasá mor
Maru pather jharaná
Kálo megher pháṋke pháṋke
Cáṋder ánágoná

Amár sheśe aruń kirań
Nidágh dine malay pavan
Shiiter sheśe phuler phágun
Priitir hitaeśańá

Cáoyár páoyár kichui to nái
Tomáy bheve priiti je pái
Nayan mele dekhi sadái
Apár tava karuńá

O lord, you are my sole consolation,
confidence in the dark night
and stream on the path through desert.
you are coming and going of the moon
through the gaps of dark clouds.
you are crimson ray at the end of the night,
and sandal breeze during hot sunny days.
you are spring festivity of the flowers
at the end of winter
and will of welfare or benevolence with love.
on getting the love of your thinking,
there is nothing like desire and achievement.
with open eyes, i always see,
your unlimited mercy.
