During spring,
In springtime, in a delusive grove
in the illusive garden,
Have bloomed flowers, row after row.
flowers bloom,
Into them mind's nectar having poured,
layer by layer.
He fits them out, full of love.

You poured into them mental honey
The champak bud that sneaks a peak,
and filled them with the beauty of your love.
It won't get hid by tender leaves.
The tiny bakul bloom and many-hued parul,
Eyes having opened, look around on all four sides.

The campa' flower bud peeps through,
Bela and Spanish jasmines give out scent;
not wanting to let itself become covered by tender leaves.
Palash and red cottons with color overwhelm.
The small bakul flower
But ashoka buds, flown and grown in both worlds,
and the colourful pa'rul flower
They peer upward, just for Him!
open their eyes
desirous to look all over.

The fragrance of the bela' and cameli flowers disperses
and the palash and shimul flowers become intoxicated with colours.
The buds of the ashoka tree spring forth all around,
facing ever upwards in search of him.

Madhumase mayakanane is the 1549th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Madhumáse máyákánane
Phul phut́eche thare thare
Maner madhu d́hele táte
Sájáy táre priiti bhare

Cáṋpár kali uṋki je dey
Kishalaye d́háká ná jáy
Chot́t́a bakul rauṋin párul
Áṋkhi mele cáy cári dháre

Belá cámeli gandha viláy
Palásh shimúl varńe mátáy
Ashoka mukul uŕiye dukúl
Úrdhve tákáy tári tare

In springtime, in a delusive grove
Have bloomed flowers, row after row.
Into them mind's nectar having poured,
He fits them out, full of love.

The champak bud that sneaks a peak,
It won't get hid by tender leaves.
The tiny bakul bloom and many-hued parul,
Eyes having opened, look around on all four sides.

Bela and Spanish jasmines give out scent;
Palash and red cottons with color overwhelm.
But ashoka buds, flown and grown in both worlds,
They peer upward, just for Him!
