O lord,
Having gone to You to beseech,
I went to you in order to demand from you
Feeling ashamed, I beat retreat,
but i returned back ashamed.
Seeing all my needs and my provisions
Contained within Your imagination.

I realized that all my necessities and preparations
Whatever I may know about me,
are within your imagination.
Whatever I may deem as mine;
You know so much more than I;
What's to be done, Lord, let it be.

Much more than what i know about myself,
My Perpetual Companion,
do you know about me.
You've painted me with Your affection;
And much more do you bestow
My garland of love alone will dwell
than whatever i think is required by me.
For Your beauty and Your disposal

With devotion in my mental temple.
O my eternal companion,
You have absorbed me
in the colour of affection.

That garland of love,
with beauty and attachment,
will ever remain for you.

I returned back ashamed
yet in affection,
entered the world of thought.

Tomar kache caite giye is the 652nd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomár káche cáite giye
Lajjá peye elám phire
(Dekhi) Mor prayojan mor áyojan
Tomári kalpaná ghire

Ámi ámáy jata jáni
Nijer bale jata máni
Tumi jáno anek beshii
Já karár tá dáo go kare

Nityakáler sáthii ámár
Mákháyecho rauṋ mamatár
Theke jábe priitiri hár
Rúpe ráge tomár tare
Anuráge bháver ghare

Having gone to You to beseech,
Feeling ashamed, I beat retreat,
Seeing all my needs and my provisions
Contained within Your imagination.

Whatever I may know about me,
Whatever I may deem as mine;
You know so much more than I;
What's to be done, Lord, let it be.

My Perpetual Companion,
You've painted me with Your affection;
My garland of love alone will dwell
For Your beauty and Your disposal
With devotion in my mental temple.
