O lord, in the flow of the fountain of light,
In a streaming fountain of light
You bathed everyone's mind.
You've bathed everybody's mind.
Creating a stir in the sky,
The three worlds You've revived.

With a stir from the heavenly arena,
Near or far, friend or foe,
You enlivened the three worlds.
Ignoring distinction, You've made all Your own.
Good or bad, black or white,
With a common thread, every life You've entwined.

By eliminating the distinction
With the radiance of dawn and the hue of dusk,
between near and far,
You've made consciousness engaged in love.
between close and distant,
Crossing the dike of time, person, and place,
You made everyone your own.
With murmuring music, a flutter You've waked.

In a single thread,
You tied both good and bad,
both dark and white,
and indeed, all lives.

By the morning effulgence
and the colour of evenings
You engrossed everyone
in conscious love.

By making one cross
the limitations of place,
time and person,
You aroused the vibration
of murmuring melodies.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áloker jharańá dháráy
Snán karáyecho tumi sabákár man
Dyuloke dolá diye
Ujjivita karecho tribhuvan

Káche o dúrer átma parer
Vibhed bhuláye sabe karecho ápan
Shádá o kálo manda bhálo
Ek d́ore báṋdhiyácho sakala jiivan

Úśasii ábháy sandhyáráge
Tanmaya kariyácho cinmay anuráge
Desh kál pátrer beŕá d́iṋiye
Marmra táne jágáyecho spandan

In a streaming fountain of light
You've bathed everybody's mind.
Creating a stir in the sky,
The three worlds You've revived.

Near or far, friend or foe,
Ignoring distinction, You've made all Your own.
Good or bad, black or white,
With a common thread, every life You've entwined.

With the radiance of dawn and the hue of dusk,
You've made consciousness engaged in love.
Crossing the dike of time, person, and place,
With murmuring music, a flutter You've waked.
