Peyechi tomár karuńáte
Járá cale geche kothá cale geche
Kothár uttar tomáte

Anádikáler jiivanera tárá
Tumi kabhu prabhu hao náko hárá
Ár áche járá cale jáy tárá
Ananta parisiimáte

Ásá jáoyá niye káler jagat
Neiko vicár kśudra brhat
Ati niicáshay atiiva mahat
Sabe báṋdhá tava niyamete

যাদের পেয়েছি নিকটে পেয়েছি
পেয়েছি তোমার করুণাতে
যারা চলে গেছে কোথা চলে গেছে
কোথার উত্তর তোমাতে

অনাদিকালের জীবনের তারা
তুমি কভু প্রভু হও নাকো হারা
আর আছে যারা চলে যায় তারা
অনন্ত পরিসীমাতে

আসা-যাওয়া নিয়ে কালের জগৎ
নেইকো বিচার ক্ষুদ্র-বৃহৎ
অতি নীচাশয় অতীব মহৎ
সবে বাঁধা তব নিয়মেতে

চরাচর চলে তব মতে

O lord, whoever i encountered
that i could draw close to me
and obtain love from
was sent to me by your grace.

Only you know,
where those who went away
have gone.

O star of my life from time immemorial!
O lord! you are never lost.
Those who are present now,
will one day fade away
into the realm of infinity.

This temporal world
consists of coming and going.
Distinctions between small and big
so become irrelevant.

Both the most insignificant
as well as the greatest ones,
are equally bound by your regulation.

Both the living and nonliving
are to move according to your wish.
