Niṋd náhi mor áṋkhipáte
Tomár kathá bheve bheve
Hiyá bahe jaladháráte

Niirav tava carańa phele
Gopan bháve jadi ele
Jhaiṋjhá váte vrśt́ipáte
Jánbe ná keu kona mate

Maner kathá sabi jáno
Ei anurodh ámár máno
Keṋde bháse je saritá
Miláo táre ságarasrote

(আজি) শ্রাবণ ঘন গহন রাতে
নিঁদ নাহি মোর আঁখিপাতে
তোমার কথা ভেবে ভেবে
হিয়া বহে জলধারাতে

নীরব তব চরণ ফেলে
গোপন ভাবে যদি এলে
ঝঞ্ঝা বাতে বৃষ্টিপাতে
জানবে না কেউ কোন মতে

মনের কথা সবই জানো
এই অনুরোধ আমার মানো
কেঁদে ভাসে যে সরিতা
মিলাও তারে সাগরস্রোতে

Sleep does not come to eyelids mine.
Thinking and thinking about You,
My heart rides out this deluge.

Silent are Your holy footsteps;
If You came, it was in secret.
