On this vernal season, You have kindled fire,
In which grove got lit the fire of spring,
in which garden, floral or mental?
A bower of flowers or garden of psyche?
This offering of love I am giving
This, love's bitty offering, I gifted to Thee,
for You wholeheartedly.
Most sincerely, oh yes, wholeheartedly.
The honey that was kept covered in my bosom,

which was absorbed with the fragrance of campak.
In my breast the honey had been concealed,
The nectar that was emanated at the face,
Like magnolia that had been fragrance-smeared.
goes on calling You with sandal breeze.
The nectar forthcoming, upward gushing,
I go on searching You all over, in pain;
It goes on calling You through a vernal breeze.
pleasure, in honor or humiliation.

When would you come, fulfilling the dream of hope,
I go on seeking You everywhere,
who knows that date?
In grief and glee, in glory and ignominy.
Who knows it, that day when You'll appear,
Having packed both bloom and fruit with hope's dream.

Phaguner agun jvele diye gele kon vane is the 2858th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Pháguner águn jvele diye gele kon vane
Phulavane ná manavane
Priitir e arghyakháni dilum dáni tava páne
Bhará práńe go bhará práńe

Je madhu d́háká chilo mor buke
Je suvás mákhá chilo campake
Je sudhá utsáriyá sammukhe
D́eke jáy tomáy malay pavane

Khuṋje jái tomáy ámi sabkháne
Duhkhe sukhe gaorave hatamáne
Ásbe kabe tithi táhá ke jáne
Phule phale bhariye áshár svapane

In which grove got lit the fire of spring,
A bower of flowers or garden of psyche?
This, love's bitty offering, I gifted to Thee,
Most sincerely, oh yes, wholeheartedly.

In my breast the honey had been concealed,
Like magnolia that had been fragrance-smeared.
The nectar forthcoming, upward gushing,
It goes on calling You through a vernal breeze.

I go on seeking You everywhere,
In grief and glee, in glory and ignominy.
Who knows it, that day when You'll appear,
Having packed both bloom and fruit with hope's dream.
