O Lord, You came into my floral garden,
Sprinkling dye on the body of flowers;
scattering beauty in the bodies of flowers.
You'd arrived in my garden.
Filling melody in the strings of viin’a’,
Packing tune in strings of [[:wikipedia:Veena|veena]],
by its tinkling You have charmed the world.
With a jingling sound the world You delighted.
You have given whiteness in the snow,

in young grass bunch,
Amid snow You bestowed a whiteness bright;
You have given smiling greenness.
A smiling greenness, to the grass piles.
You have announced the news of love
Tidings of love You publicized
in sky, air, everywhere.
Far and wide, on sky and wind.
You have given sweetness in human mind

along with hope, love, and soft succulence,
Upon human mind You conferred a sweetness kind,
By raising waves You have flowed
Hope and affection, and a tenderness refined.
the streams and rivers,
With flow and wave You conveyed a tide
in the voyage of great life.
For gracious life's expedition.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Kusumer gáye rauṋ chaŕáye
Esechile mor upavane (tumi)
Viińár tárete sur bhare diye
Jhauṋkáre mátale bhuvane

Tuśárer májhe dile dhavalatá
Shaśpapuiṋje smita shyámalatá
Chaŕáiyá dile priitira váratá
Ákáshe vátáse sabkháne

Mánaver mane dile madhuratá
Áshá bhálabásá sneha sarasatá
Srote tarauṋge bahále saritá
Mahájiivaner abhijáne

Sprinkling dye on the body of flowers;
You'd arrived in my garden.
Packing tune in strings of veena,
With a jingling sound the world You delighted.

Amid snow You bestowed a whiteness bright;
A smiling greenness, to the grass piles.
Tidings of love You publicized
Far and wide, on sky and wind.

Upon human mind You conferred a sweetness kind,
Hope and affection, and a tenderness refined.
With flow and wave You conveyed a tide
For gracious life's expedition.
