Into the blue water flow,
On a high-sea current sails along
the boat of my mind goes on floating.
My psychic boat.
With insuppressible blow
By action and reaction under turbulent winds,
and counterblow of the wind,
Where it goes, that I do not know.
where does it go that I do not know.

How many times the sun sets and again rises,
How often the sun sinks and rises–
the colorful light lies on the sea.
A dappled light sprawls upon the ocean.
Marking line of rain on the forehead,
A line of rain is traced on forehead;
days and nights come and go.
Day and night, it comes and goes.
My sole movement on the path like that is good,

looking and listening without speaking.
This traveling is for my welfare only–
All the pain of the life is forgotten
Proceeding methodically, saying nothing.
ignoring lightning and thunder.
Remaining forgotten is all life's agony,
Disregarding lightning and thunderbolts.

Niilambu dharay bhese jay is the 2840th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Niilámbu dháráy bhese jáy
Ámár citta tarańii
Durdam váte gháte pratigháte
Kothá jáy táhá ná jáni

Katabár ravi d́obe ár ot́he
Rauṋin álok jaladhite lot́e
Varśer rekhá eṋke lalát́e
Áse jáy divá rajanii

Ei bhálo mor shudhu patha calá
Shune dekhe jáoyá kichu náhi balá
Bhule tháká jata jiivaner jválá
Ná mene vajra ashani

On a high-sea current sails along
My psychic boat.
By action and reaction under turbulent winds,
Where it goes, that I do not know.

How often the sun sinks and rises–
A dappled light sprawls upon the ocean.
A line of rain is traced on forehead;
Day and night, it comes and goes.

This traveling is for my welfare only–
Proceeding methodically, saying nothing.
Remaining forgotten is all life's agony,
Disregarding lightning and thunderbolts.
