O lord, with a clarion call you told,
You had told, ever calling:
“wake up, arise, all those who are sleeping”.
"Wakened, rise all you asleep."
That call got merged in sky, air
Mixed inside both sky and air went
and treeshade in desert.
This same call, like shade of wasteland-tree.
it shook the hot dry sand on the riverbank

and green young grass in the forestland,
A desert's heat on sands of early morning
decoration of flower within
And in woods with grass, fresh and green...
the core of the mind and the chignon.
But in a floral garb at core of psyche,
the call floated all over the horizon,
Hair-braids tied and made to swing.
into the eastern direction during sunrise,

into the red hue of evening sun
Upon horizon the call went a-gliding
carrying the nectar of the stream of love.
Behind Eastern Mountain{{#tag:ref|The Eastern Mountain is an imaginary mountain behind which the sun is thought to rise at dawn.|group="nb"}}, a crimson dawn rising...
To the evening sun's glow ruddy
With ambrosia of love's stream.

Dak diye diye balechile is the 2773rd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

D́ák diye diye balechile
Jege ot́ho je ácho ghumiye
Ákáshe vátáse mishe gelo
Sei d́ak maru taru cháye

Tapta marur úśar bálite
Shyámala shaśpe vanasthaliite
Marmer májhe kusumer sáje
Kabarii bande dolá diye

D́ák bhese gelo digvalaye
Púrvácale aruńa udaye
Sandhyá ravir raktimábháy
Priiti saritár sudhá niye

You had told, ever calling:
"Wakened, rise all you asleep."
Mixed inside both sky and air went
This same call, like shade of wasteland-tree.

A desert's heat on sands of early morning
And in woods with grass, fresh and green...
But in a floral garb at core of psyche,
Hair-braids tied and made to swing.

Upon horizon the call went a-gliding
Behind Eastern Mountain[nb 2], a crimson dawn rising...
To the evening sun's glow ruddy
With ambrosia of love's stream.
