Álor vanyá ene dile
Áṋdháre cal chilum ámi eká
Pather nisháná dekhále

D́ekechilum jata keṋdechilum tata
Nirásháy thamke dáṋŕiyechilum kata
Tumi vyathá bholále

Bhevechilum ámi raye gechi ekákii
Mor duhkh bujhivár kehai náhi náki
Tumi bhul bháuṋgále

Din jáy kśań jáy pái tava paricay
Bujhechi e vishve keha kabhu eká nay
Sáthe ácho pratipale

নির্জন বনে তুমি কে এলে
আলোর বন্যা এনে' দিলে
আঁধারে চল্‌ ছিলুম আমি একা
পথের নিশানা দেখালে

ডেকেছিলুম যত কেঁদেছিলুম তত
নিরাশায় থমকে দাঁড়িয়েছিলুম কত
তুমি ব্যথা ভোলালে

ভেবেছিলুম আমি রয়ে গেছি একাকী
মোর দুঃখ বুঝিবার কেহই নাহি নাকি
তুমি ভুল ভাঙ্গালে

দিন যায় ক্ষণ যায় পাই তব পরিচয়
বুঝেছি এ বিশ্বে কেহ কভু একা নয়
সাথে আছ প্রতিপলে

Into a lonesome grove, oh You, Who did come?
You conveyed light's inundation.
In the dark alone had I been moving;
You revealed path's destination.

As much as I had called, that much had I wept;
Taken aback, oft I'd stood, dejected.
You made me forget affliction.

I had thought that lone and helpless I've remained;
Is there no one fathoming my pain?
You shattered the error.

Days pass, moments pass, I make Your acquaintance;
In this world none is ever unattended, I have grasped.
You keep company each second.
